A novel bacterium called strain ZHW00191 was isolated from human feces and characterized, showing it is a Gram-positive, non-motile, obligate anaerobe.
It thrives at temperatures of 25-45°C, with an optimum around 37-42°C, and can grow in a pH range of 5.5-10.0, preferring pH 6.5-7.0, while not tolerating salt well.
Genetic analysis and comparison with related strains indicate that ZHW00191 represents a new genus and species, proposing the name for classification within microbiology.
