In this work, we introduced the acrylate recognition group into dicyanoisophorone derivative DCI-C-OH to construct the NIR fluorescent probe DCI-C-Cys with a large Stokes shift (240 nm). DCI-C-Cys could specifically respond to Cys, resulting in a 22-fold increase in fluorescence intensity at 702 nm. Meanwhile, the probe has the advantages of good water solubility, high sensitivity (93 nM), and excellent biocompatibility.

We reported herein an iridium/silver/acid ternary catalytic system to access bisbenzannulated [6,6]-spiroketals in high efficiency with generally high diastereo- and enantioselectivities (up to >20 : 1 dr, >99 % ee). In this procedure, readily available o-alkynylacetophenones undergo cycloisomerization to generate isochromenes in situ that participate in stereoselective allylation/spiroketalization sequence with 2-(1-hydroxyallyl)phenols. Meanwhile, 2-(1-hydroxyallyl)anilines were also compatible in this cascade reaction, furnishing structurally novel bisbenzannulated [6,6]-spiroaminals with good diastereoselectivities (8 : 1-12 : 1 dr) and excellent enantioselectivities (98 %->99 % ee).

Aim: To summarize the features of splenic tuberculosis and splenic lymphoma by contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) and examine the application of CEUS in differentiating splenic tuberculosis from splenic lymphoma.

Methods: The ultrasound and CEUS manifestations of 30 cases of splenic tuberculosis and 19 cases of splenic lymphoma were retrospectively analyzed, and the number of lesions, degree of splenomegaly, internal echogenicity, color blood flow signal, and CEUS manifestations of the two diseases were statistically determined.

Results: A significant difference was noted in the internal echogenicity between splenic tuberculosis and splenic lymphoma lesions, particularly the strip-shaped hyperechoic areas of the lesions.

In this work, CoO/g-CN catalyst with highly efficient adsorption and degradation of antibiotics was developed based on the combination of three-dimensional (3D) porous morphological controls of g-CN and the loading of CoO quantum dots (CoO QDs). It was discovered that the catalyst can effectively activate peroxymonosulfate (PMS) through a non-photochemical path, and a high tetracycline elimination rate of 99.7% can be achieved within 18 min.

To acquire phosphorus, cyanobacteria use the typical bacterial ABC-type phosphate transporter, which is composed of a periplasmic high-affinity phosphate-binding protein PstS and a channel formed by two transmembrane proteins PstC and PstA. A putative pstS gene was identified in the genomes of cyanophages that infect the unicellular marine cyanobacteria Prochlorococcus and Synechococcus.
