Background: Wire-guided localization (WGL) for non-palpable breast cancer lesions has drawbacks like wire migration, localization difficulties, and logistical challenges. Wireless methods, such as reflector-guided localization (RGL), address these issues and are compatible with breast MRI. This study evaluates the organizational and cost impacts of RGL compared to WGL.

Methods: A prospective descriptive study on 37 patients with laparoscopic and thoracoscopic whole stomach esophagectomy with preoperative pyloric balloon dilatation from January 2019 to March 2023. The perioperative indications, clinical data, intra-operative index, pathological postoperative specimens, postoperative complications, and follow-up results were retrospectively evaluated.
Background: Percutaneous rhizotomy is a group of techniques used to treat trigeminal neuralgia. Radiofrequency thermocoagulation (RF) and Chemical Rhizotomy (CR) using glycerol are among the most frequently used methods. We have recently refined Ethanol Rhizotomy (ER) under Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) guidance.

Proteins contain C-type lectin domains that have a diverse range of functions, including cell-cell adhesion, immune response to pathogens, and apoptosis.

Vietnam is plagued with a variety of health problems, but there are no available data on immune system values in the Vietnamese population. This study aimed to establish reference intervals for immune cell parameters specific to the healthy Vietnamese population by utilizing multi-color flow cytometry (MCFC).

Out of 127 reviewed studies, findings indicated the wider spread of infectious diseases, and increased mortality and hospitalisation risks associated with extreme heat, droughts, and floods. However, there are few studies addressing health cost, awareness, engagement, adaptation, and policy.

Moreover, cancer patients frequently experience compromised immune systems, rendering them susceptible to bacterial infections. Combining anticancer and antibacterial properties in a single drug could lead to improved overall treatment outcomes and patient well-being.

This procedure has not yet been recommended by learned societies in France. Following the recent drug approval of Infracyanin ® in this indication, we wished to study the use of ICG in France.

The epidemiology of corneal ulcers in Vietnam has not been well characterized. In this report, we reviewed retrospectively the microbiological data of patients with a clinical diagnosis of corneal ulcer at the microbiology laboratory of Vietnam National Eye Hospital from January 1, 2010 to March 31, 2023. We observed a seasonal pattern for fungal and microsporidial keratitis, with an annual peak in November, and an inverse relationship between fungal keratitis and inclement weather.

Methods: All patients with endometrial carcinoma, treated at hospital European Georges Pompidou between 2001 and 2021 were retrospectively included. Patients were separated into two groups: TP53-mutated and not TP53-mutated (POLE/ultramutated-like (POLEmut), dMMR (mismatch repair-deficient) and NSMP (No specific molecular profile)).
This paper presents the bending behaviour of the porcupine quill and bioinspired Voronoi sandwich panels, aiming to explore the effect of geometrical design on the bending performance of the inspired structures. Through the x-ray micro-computed tomography, the internal morphology of the quill is explored. The longitudinal cross-section of the porcupine quill revealed a functionally graded design in the foam structure.

We aimed to evaluate its prognostic impact and to compare survival according to the initial metastatic location. We conducted a multicenter study between 2000 and 2020, including patients with a FIGO stage IV EOC.

Deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flap is a new but reliable and safe technique for autologous breast reconstruction. After mastectomy, immediate reconstruction is the preferred method because of its aesthetic result and convenience.

The tight association of narcolepsy with HLA-DQB1*06:02 strongly suggest an autoimmune origin to this disease. Furthermore, converging epidemiological studies have identified an increased incidence for narcolepsy in Europe following Pandemrix® vaccination against the 2009-2010 pandemic 'influenza' virus strain.

In the hybrid structure, PEDOT:PSS with high mobility acts as a carrier transport layer, while ZnO:Cu NRs with high visible absorption works as an "antenna" material to generate electron-hole pairs under light illumination. As a result, the devices exhibits a high response in visible light at a wavelength of 395 nm.
