Introduction: To mitigate gastroparesis as well as other post-operative complications, we undertook a prospective multicenter study to assess the feasibility, safety, and efficacy in the short-term outcomes of laparoscopic and thoracoscopic whole stomach esophagectomy with preoperative pyloric balloon dilatation.
Methods: A prospective descriptive study on 37 patients with laparoscopic and thoracoscopic whole stomach esophagectomy with preoperative pyloric balloon dilatation from January 2019 to March 2023. The perioperative indications, clinical data, intra-operative index, pathological postoperative specimens, postoperative complications, and follow-up results were retrospectively evaluated.
Cuprous oxide/copper/cupric oxide nanoparticles were synthesized through a hybrid process involving anodic dissolution and a controlled redox reaction between NaOH and glucose in the solution. The study demonstrates the structural manipulation of the material by varying the reaction components within the solution. Morphology, structural analyses using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope), EDX (Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy), TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope), FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), XRD (X-ray diffraction), and XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy) unveiled the tunability of the material's structure based on the reaction components.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to identify risk factors in the early phase of ASF outbreaks in Vietnamese swine herds during the first epidemic year.
Methods: The period of interest for this case-control study was February to July 2019.
Aim: Laryngeal cancer is a common form of head and neck cancer in Vietnam where the current treatment is surgery. Subtotal laryngectomy with epiglottic reconstruction, a conservative surgery, allows removal of anterior commissure including thyroid cartilage and paraglottic space and provides a maximum restoration of the anatomical structure of the larynx.
Purpose: To evaluate the results, the safety and effectiveness of patients who were treated with subtotal laryngectomy with epiglottic reconstruction.
Objective: There have been surgical procedures to reconstruct the gastrointestinal continuity after distal gastrectomy. This study is aimed at comparing the surgical outcomes of reconstructing gastrointestinal continuity by the method of Finsterer and Roux-en-Y after distal gastrectomy due to cancer. .

Results: Data were collected on 765 children with CP (mean age: 2 years 7 months (SD 2 y 6 mo).

The results show that M2,3DB can be purified by many different chromatographic techniques and is identified as methyl 2,3-dihydroxybenzoate based on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) spectra analyses. M2,3DB was firstly evaluated for its antifungal activity, where the growth of Botrytis cinerea and Rhizoctonia solani was almost completely inhibited at an M2,3DB concentration of 50 μg/mL.

After analyses by mass spectrometry (MS), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and high resolution mass spectrometry (HR-MS/MS) the compound was identified to be polypeptin C consisting of 3-hydroxy-4-methyl-hexanoic acid moiety and nine amino acids as peptide body.
