Background: Unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss (URPL) is a significant obstetric challenge affecting maternal health and well-being. Genetic factors, including mutations in the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene and elevated homocysteine levels, are increasingly recognized as contributors to URPL, though their precise roles remain complex. This study aimed to comprehensively explore these factors.

Their chemical structures were elucidated based on the extensive spectroscopic interpretation of HR-ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR spectra. The absolute configurations of 2 and 3 were determined by experimental ECD spectra.

Unlabelled: Endophytic fungi are known as an alternative promising source of anticancer drug, paclitaxel, however fungi inhabiting in medicinal plant and their paclitaxel production have not been reported to date. In the present study, a total of 15 culturable fungi classified into 5 genera, were successfully recovered from collected in Vietnam. Screening fungal dichloromethane extracts for anticancer activity revealed that only PQF9 extract displayed potent inhibitory effects on A549 and MCF7 cancer cell lines with IC values of 33.

Guided by GC/MS profiling and bioassay, chromatographic separations led to the isolation of five new compounds: two anacardic acid derivatives -, two cardanol derivatives - and a cardol derivative , along with mixtures of known phenolic lipids -. The chemical structures were determined by various spectroscopic methods.
