Introduction: Most hospitalized patients required invasive or non-invasive ventilation and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC). Therefore, this study was conducted to describe the characteristics of patients with severe Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) treated by HFNC and its effectiveness for reducing the rate of intubated-mechanical ventilation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Phu Chanh COVID-19 Department-Binh Duong General Hospital.
Methods: It was a cross-sectional and descriptive study.
Breast cancer is a prominent cause of death among women worldwide. Infrared thermography, due to its cost-effectiveness and non-ionizing radiation, has emerged as a promising tool for early breast cancer diagnosis. This article presents a hybrid model approach for breast cancer detection using thermography images, designed to process and classify these images into healthy or cancerous categories, thus supporting disease diagnosis.

As 3D-printed (3DP) patterns are solid and durable, they can be used to create thin wall castings, which is complicated with wax patterns because of the wax's fragility and high shrinkage ratio. According to this study's experiment results, polylactic acid (PLA), polyvinyl butyral (PVB), and castable wax (CW) are suitable materials for preparing investment casting (IC) cavities. The results indicate that the casting product with the highest-quality surface is obtained using a cavity prepared using a CW-printed pattern.

In this case report, we present a young patient with GBS, whose clinical and laboratory data were appropriate for the diagnosis of GBS due to COVID-19 infection. Purpose: In this study, a high-efficiency extract (SCE) produced by the fermentation of effective microorganisms (EM) was used as an antioxidant material in preparing cosmetic products.
Subjects And Methods: We conducted the study by extracting via EM fermentation to increase the efficiency. Tyrosinase inhibitory factor analysis, pH, and thermal stability were measured to verify the properties of the prepared products.
We demonstrate a one-step fabrication method to realize desired gold (Au) nanoholes arrays by using a one-photon absorption based direct laser writing technique. Thanks to the optically induced thermal effect of Au material at 532 nm excitation wavelength, the local temperature at the laser focus area can reach as high as 600°C, which induces an evaporation of the Au thin film resulting in a metallic nanohole. By controlling the laser spot movement and exposure time, different two-dimensional Au nanoholes structures with periodicity as small as 500 nm have been demonstrated.
