Characteristics of leakage currents in InGaN/AlGaN nanowire-based red microLEDs.

III-nitride nanowire (NW) LEDs have been intensively studied for several emerging applications. However, the performance of these LEDs is still limited due to many factors. A leakage current may cause idle power consumption and affect the reliability and luminescence efficiency of the devices.

AgPO-Deposited TiO@TiC Petals for Highly Efficient Photodecomposition of Various Organic Dyes under Solar Light.

Two-dimensional TiC MXenes can be used to fabricate hierarchical TiO nanostructures that are potential photocatalysts. In this study, the photodecomposition of organic dyes under solar light was investigated using flower-like TiO@TiC, deposited using narrow bandgap AgPO. The surface morphology, crystalline structure, surface states, and optical bandgap properties were determined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), nitrogen adsorption analysis, and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-DRS).

Automated perimetry: a report by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Objective: The purpose of this document is to summarize and evaluate the effectiveness of new automated perimetry tests and algorithms in diagnosing glaucoma and detecting disease progression.

Methods: A literature search on automated perimetry retrieved over 300 citations from 1994 to 2001, of which 71 were selected as relevant to this assessment. The quality of the evidence obtained from these studies was assessed by the methodologist.
