The study investigated the effects of taurine and aqueous garlic extract (AGE) on healing osteoporotic fractures in ovariectomized rats.
The experiment involved 24 female rats divided into three groups (control, taurine, AGE), with healing assessed through various biological methods six weeks post-surgery.
Results showed that both taurine and AGE enhanced bone healing compared to the control group, with taurine exhibiting significant improvements in bone formation indicators and osteoblastic activity.
