The possible interaction between pesticides and fluorescent calix[4]arene molecules was monitored by UV/Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. When compared the studied pesticides, kesoxim-methyl was strongly quenched the fluorescence intensity of upper rim-modified calix[4]arene.
