Introduction: Atrial fibrillation (AF) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) are closely related. These diseases share common risk factors and are associated with increased risk of thromboembolic events. Using validated tools, TB has been documented in several chronic conditions, but not atrial fibrillation (AF).
