Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is an X-linked disease caused by loss-of-function mutations in the gene and is characterized by muscle wasting and early mortality. Adeno-associated virus-mediated gene therapy is being investigated as a treatment for DMD. Methods: We prospectively screened 766 men with suspicious lesions on mpMRI, an elevated PSA level or a suspect digital examination undergoing MRI-TRUS-TPBx in LA, from May 2019 to July 2020. Patients with the need for antibiotic prophylaxis or without a PI-RADS target lesion were excluded from final analyses.

Monoclonal antibody (mAb) pharmacokinetics (PK) have largely been predicted via allometric scaling with little consideration for cross-species differences in neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) affinity or clearance/distribution mechanisms. To address this, we developed a mAb physiologically-based PK model that describes the intracellular trafficking and FcRn recycling of mAbs in a human FcRn transgenic homozygous mouse and human. This paper reports on the fabrication of 1-3 piezocomposites for ultrasonic transducers with operating frequencies up to 40 MHz based on recent developments of the soft mold technique. Compared to the established dice-and-fill technique, the soft mold process allows for the manufacturing of 1-3 piezocomposites with higher variability of pillar design and distribution as well as smaller structural size. Consequently, spurious modes generated by the lateral composite layout can be pushed to higher frequencies, which allows for increased operating frequency.
