Nonsurgical management of type II dens invaginatus with cone beam computed tomography: A rare case.

Dens invaginatus is a progressive abnormality resulting from invagination of the crown or root before calcification. This case report presents nonsurgical endodontic treatment and nine-year follow-up results of a right maxillary canine tooth with type II dens invaginatus. A 40-year-old female patient was referred to the clinic for treatment of her maxillary right canine tooth.

A Novel Technique for Identification of Wear Values at Different Lengths after Multiple Clinical Use of Different File Systems.

The purpose of this research is to assess the wearing of the rotary file system (Protaper Next) and reciprocating file systems (Reciproc Blue and WaveOne Gold) at different lengths using a novel technique after in vivo clinical use. Twelve different unused samples from each brand were accepted as reference values. For three different brands, the diameters of the files were measured by taking 12 samples used once, 12 samples used twice, and 12 samples used three times.

Apically extruded debris associated with ProTaper Next, ProTaper Gold and TruNatomy systems: An in vitro study.

This research aimed to investigate and compare the amount of apically extruded debris after root canal preparation using ProTaper Next, ProTaper Gold, and TruNatomy systems. Forty-five extracted mandibular premolar teeth with single canals with similar lengths were used. The root canals were prepared using ProTaper Next (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland), ProTaper Gold (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland), or TruNatomy (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland) files.

YouTube as an information source for instrument separation in root canal treatment.

Objectives: The reliability and educational quality of videos on YouTube for patients seeking information regarding instrument separation in root canal treatment were evaluated.

Materials And Methods: YouTube was searched for videos on instrument separation in root canal treatment. Video content was scored based on reliability in terms of 3 categories (etiology, procedure, and prognosis) and based on video flow, quality, and educational usefulness using the Global Quality Score (GQS).

Awareness and Knowledge of SARS-CoV-2 Infection among Dental Professionals According to the Turkish National Dental Guidelines.

The objective of the current survey was to assess the awareness of the dental professionals according to the principals described by the Turkish Dental Association (TDA). A questionnaire including the socio-demographic data, specialties/academic degree, institutions/affiliations, the knowledge about COVID-19, the number of patients examined and dental treatments performed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the knowledge of protection based on the guidelines described by TDA, contamination with COVID-19 and the psychological complaints has been used. A total of 947 (63.
