Prevalence of Multiple Sclerosis in the Middle Black Sea Region of Turkey and Demographic Characteristics of Patients.

Introduction: Multiple sclerosis (MS), a demyelinating disease of the central nervous system, is increasing in prevalence worldwide. Other than small-scale studies, there is a scarcity of data on the prevalence of MS in Turkey. The present study aimed to elucidate the prevalence of MS in the Middle Black Sea Region and the demographic characteristics of patients.

Rıvaroxaban-induced severe diffuse ıntracerebral hemorrhage.

Bleeding, the most frightening adverse effect of anticoagulants,may occur in different parts of the body.When intracerebral hemorrhage in individuals used anticoagulant drugs is compared with normal coagulation function, the volume of bleeding is increased and the prognosis is worse. There are few studies in the literature regarding the presence of intracerebral hemorrhage and the volume and prognosis of bleeding associated with rivaroxaban, a new oral anticoagulant.

Apical extrusion of intracanal debris using two engine driven and step-back instrumentation techniques: an in-vitro study.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to compare in-vitro the amount of debris extruded apically from extracted teeth, using K3, Protaper rotary instruments and manual step-back technique.

Methods: Forty five human single-rooted mandibular premolar teeth were randomly divided into 3 groups. The teeth in 3 groups were instrumented until reaching the working length with K3, Protaper rotary instruments and K-type stainless steel instruments with manual step-back technique, respectively.
