Eplet 52SK is unique in the HLA eplet registry as targeting the whole family of DQA1*01 alleles. It is proposed as an antibody-verified eplet but has not been validated enough to deserve this label. Especially, confusion can occur with reactivity targeting the 52PQ eplet which is present on the DQB1*05 and DQB1*06 alleles families, as DQ molecule stability imposes DQA1*01 to selectively associate with these DQ-β families only.

The myocardial protective effects of trilinolein, isolated from the Chinese herb Sanchi (Panax notoginseng), may be related to its antioxidant effects. In the present study, we investigated the effects of trilinolein on angiotensin II-induced cardiomyocyte hypertrophy. Cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes were stimulated with angiotensin II, [3H]leucine incorporation and the beta-myosin heavy chain promoter activity were examined.

A thorough SAR study of the oxime region of the dual NK(1)/NK(2) antagonist 1 revealed several modifications that result in potent dual antagonists. Follow up SAR studies on a second-generation scaffold demonstrate that certain polar groups on the oxime can improve the dual binding affinity to the subnanomolar range.
