Sleep quality and common mental disorder in the hospital Nursing team.

Objective: to determine the prevalence of sleep quality and common mental disorder in Nursing professionals and factors associated with sleep change.

Method: a cross-sectional, analytical and quantitative study developed with 196 Nursing professionals of a public hospital and a mixed one. Data was collected by means of an instrument of sociodemographic characterization, by the Self-Report Questionnaire 20 and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics to identify possible factors associated with sleep changes.

Insertion of nursing professionals in the management of materials in a teaching hospital of Paraná.

Objectives: To analyze the perception of nursing professionals about their insertion in the material management process in hospital units.

Methods: Exploratory study with a qualitative approach carried out in a university hospital in Paraná. Data collection was carried out between October and December 2019, through semi-structured interviews recorded in audio.

Reactions and feelings of health professionals in the care of hospitalized patients with suspected covid-19.

Objective: To understand the reactions and feelings of professionals in the frontline of care for inpatients with suspected COVID-19.

Method: Qualitative approach study with 19 health team professionals from a teaching hospital located in the hinterland of the state of Paraná. Data were collected in March and April 2020.

Performance of nurses in the bed management service of a teaching hospital.

Objectives: to analyze the performance of nurses in the Bed Management service of a public teaching hospital.

Methods: descriptive, qualitative research inspired by Dubois theoretical model. 32 participants from the bed management unit and care units of a public hospital were interviewed from February to May 2018.

Patient safety: knowledge between multiprofessional residents.

Objective: To assess the knowledge of multiprofesional residents in health about the security of the patient theme.

Methods: Cross-sectional study, quantitative, developed with graduate courses/residence specialties of health in a public university of Paraná, Brazil. Participants (n=78) answered a questionnaire containing nine objective questions related to patient safety.

[Reorganization of services: challenges of the psychiatric reform].

This qualitative study, based on social survey, aimed at understanding actions carried out in mental health in nine cities of the 10th Health District of the Health Care Module of Cascavel, Paraná, Brazil. Nine municipal health secretaries participated in a semi-structured interview carried out between July and September, 2004. Collective Subject Discourse (CSD) was used to analyze the data.

[Strategic planning and mental health policies].

This article discusses how mental health policies are prioritized in the process of strategic planning of mental health actions within the context of Brazilian psychiatric reform. The theoretical support of strategic planning provide health professionals, particularly those involved in metal health, with elements fir deepening discussions on existing mental health actions and policies.

[Insights about the challenge of nursing education administration].

This article aims to trigger ideas and to point elements to for leaders' development to nursing education administration. While assuming the administrative role is necessary to understand the dimension of the educational process as something that goes beyond the simple knowledge transference. We present issues related to the nursing education dimensions, about the building a political pedagogical guideline to actions of professional development, based in the policies for the nursing curriculum.
