Objective: This study aimed to compare the wear resistance and color stability of fixed dental prostheses (FDPs) fabricated using two different materials: zirconia veneered with feldspathic porcelain and polyetheretherketone (PEEK) veneered with indirect composite. The assessment included samples subjected to thermocycling and wear simulation.

Methods: Two groups of FDPs were examined: one made of zirconia veneered with feldspathic porcelain (control and thermocycled) and the other made of PEEK veneered with indirect composite (worn and thermocycled).

Introduction: Titanium oxide (TiO) nanoparticles (NPs) have significantly proved to be highly useful in restorative materials, dental adhesives, sealants, cements, and other dental applications to prevent microbial colonization and reduce the risk of infections. The present study was aimed at developing a dental material with antibacterial properties by combining titanium oxide NPs using ginger and rosemary extracts.

Materials And Methods: The formulation was prepared using rosemary and ginger, mediated by TiO NPs.

Aim And Objective: Currently, the major priority in the field of nanotechnology or nanoscience is research and development at the atomic- or molecular-level sciences. Almost every aspects of human health, including pharmaceutical, clinical research and analysis, and supplemental immunological systems, are significantly impacted by it. Diverse dental applications to the realm of nanotechnology, which also reflect developments in material sciences, have given rise to the field of nanodentistry and nanocatalytic drug development, especially in oral nanozyme research and application.

Aim: The aim of the study is to evaluate the embryonic toxicology of ginger- and clove-mediated titanium oxide (TiO) nanoparticles (NPs)-based dental varnish with zebrafish ().

Materials And Methods: Dental varnish was formulated using ginger, clove extract, and titanium dioxide NPs followed by the introduction of this test solution at concentrations of 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16 µL along with a control group with medium zebrafish embryos into a 6-well culture plate. After 2 hours of incubation, the embryos of zebrafish were tested and analyzed for hatchability and mortality rate using one-way ANOVA and Tukey's tests using statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) software.

Introduction: Cheiloscopy and dactyloscopy have long been the most commonly used methods for forensic investigations. Orthodontists perform numerous diagnostic procedures, which include radiographs, photographs and impressions of the teeth and palate for the evaluation of malocclusion. The data recorded by them provide immense information about a patient.
