[Thirty years of Medical Faculty in Tuzla].

This year Medical Faculty University of Tuzla celebrates thirty years of its funding and development. It was second established medical faculty in Bosnia and Herzegovina out of five presently existing. In this paper stated are the most important events and professors, scientists and researchers which in last thirty years with their engagement and contribution have made this Medical faculty respectable scientific institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.

[Breast Paget disease: morphologic substrate and Paget cells characteristics].

Authors analyzed 143 cases of breast Paget disease with special emphasis on basic tumor process and on immune histochemical characteristics of tumor cells. Breast Paget disease represent special clinical presentation of the breast tumor. The most often tumor in the breast are ductal carcinoma in situ, ductal carcinoma and in rare instance lobular carcinoma and lobular carcinoma in situ.

[Morphological characteristics of the phyllodes tumours of the breast].

Tumor phyllodes arise from stroma component of the terminal ductulo-lobular unit (TDLU). Stromal and epithelial proliferation are present in the same time. The stromal component grow th more intensive and dominante over the epithelial component.

[One hundred thirty years of organizing health care system in Tuzla region].

The organized health care in Tuzla region begins by the establishment of hastahana in Tuzla 1874 year, when thanks the first graduated physician Dr. Mehmed Serbic Sami was opened the Vakuf's hospital in Tuzla, which he success fully lead to his death 1918 year. The great role in the treatment of the become ill inhabitants played the general hosptals, established during Australia-Hungarian period (Tuzla - 1886, Brcko - 1886.

[Diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of interventional echotomography in gastroenterology].

Interventional ultrasound includes all diagnostic and therapy procedures controlled by ultra sound. In this manner, conventional ultrasound diagnostics which has a very important diagnostic role in gastroenterology increases its potential in diagnosis and gives an important contribution in the therapy of abdominal organs diseases. Diagnostic interventional ultrasonography enables sampling from solid and cystic changes for histological or cytological analyses.

[Markers of ductal carcinoma in situ].

The breast cancer has become more frequent with women lately. The reasons for that are longer life, effects of external factors and hormone effects, estrogen in particular either natural or synthetic. Today's trend is to detect these tumors in situ in early stage where two types of lesions are distinguished: ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) and lobular carcinoma in situ.
