Geographic variation in modern contraceptive utilization among women of reproductive age in Mozambique: a multilevel analysis.

Background: Modern contraceptives are crucial for reducing maternal and child mortality, yet Mozambique's contraceptive prevalence rate is very low, with significant regional disparities. This study investigates geographic variation in contraceptive use and the individual, community, and regional factors influencing it to guide equitable family planning interventions.

Methods: This study utilized data from the 2022/23 Mozambique Demographic and Health Survey, analyzing a weighted sample of 9,316 women aged 15-49.

Intention to use mobile text message reminders for medication adherence among hypertensive patients in North West Ethiopia: a cross-sectional study.

Background: Reminders via digital technology offer a novel and efficient means to address medication forgetfulness, as they are easily accessible and user-friendly for patients. In particular mobile text message reminders are more suitable for chronic patients, as they require few technical skills, can operate without internet connectivity, and are less expensive than other technologies. This study aimed to assess the intention to use mobile text message reminders for medication adherence among hypertensive patients at the Gondar City health facilities.

District health information system 2 data utilization among health professionals in Amara region private hospitals, Ethiopia.

Background: Globally, health information systems have been improved by District Health Information System Version 2 (DHIS2), which promotes consistency and integrity in collecting data, processing, and utilization. This success has been attributed to its user-friendly interface and incorporation of advanced data analysis and validation features.

Therefore, this study is aimed at assessing the attitude of healthcare professionals to using mHealth technology and associated factors in Ethiopia.

Information seeking behavior on hepatitis B virus, and its associated factors among pregnant women at teaching and specialized hospitals, Northwest Ethiopia: A cross-sectional study.

Introduction: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection continues to be a major public health issue worldwide. Health information-seeking behavior is critical to obtain information about health, diseases such as the Hepatitis B virus, health risks, and health promotion and it has become a major concern of health policymakers. However, there is little evidence of information-seeking behavior on the Hepatitis B virus in Ethiopia.

Predicting healthcare professionals' acceptance towards electronic personal health record systems in a resource-limited setting: using modified technology acceptance model.
