It typically takes a lot of time to monitor life-testing experiments on a product or material. Units can be tested under harsher conditions than usual, known as accelerated life tests to shorten the testing period. This study's goal is to investigate the issue of partially accelerated life testing that use generalized progressive hybrid censored samples to estimate the stress-strength reliability in the multicomponent case.

In this paper, an inference on stress-strength reliability model is introduced in case of the exponentiated generalized Marshall Olkin G family of distributions. The maximum likelihood estimator of the stress-strength reliability function is deduced. An asymptotic confidence and bootstrap confidence intervals for the stress-strength reliability function are derived.

This paper introduced a study for a new system that consists of one unit with mixed standby units. The mathematical model for the system is constructed using semi-Markov model with regenerative point technique in two cases: the first case when there is preventive maintenance provided to the main unit and the second case when there is no preventive maintenance in the system. Life and repair times of the units in the system are assumed to be generally distributed with fuzzy parameters defined by the bell-shaped membership function.
