Corneal collagen cross linkage (CXL) is standard procedure to stop progression of keratoconus.

Background Effective clinical documentation, particularly operative notes, is essential for maintaining healthcare standards and fostering interdisciplinary communication. This study focuses on improving the quality of ophthalmic operative notes by adopting the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) guidelines for good surgical practice. Methodology A retrospective cross-sectional audit at Khyber Teaching Hospital, Pakistan, assessed 138 operative notes against the RCS criteria.

Transient Intraocular Pressure Fluctuations After Intravitreal Bevacizumab Injection in Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy Patients: A Prospective Study.

Introduction: The clinical use of intravitreal bevacizumab (IVB), a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that functions as an anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF), has recently increased in patients with retinal ischemic diseases such as proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR). The short-term and long-term complications associated with this procedure have not been well established. We aimed to study the possible short-term complication of intraocular pressure (IOP) fluctuations shortly after IVB injection in patients with PDR.

Etiology of white pupillary reflex in pediatric age group.

Leukocoria means white pupil. Normal pupil appears black in children and adults. The typical red reflex is due to retro-illumination of choroidal vessels reflected via the retina, vitreous humor, crystalline lens, aqueous humor, pupil, and cornea.
