A new class of thiophene-based molecules of 5-bromothiophene-2-carboxylic acid () have been synthesized in current research work. All analogs - were synthesized with optimized conditions by coupling reactions of 2-ethylhexyl 5-bromothiophene-2-carboxylate () with various arylboronic acids. The results indicated that the majority of compounds showed promising effective in vitro antibacterial activity.

Background: Cotton is the world's richest source of natural fiber. Meanwhile cotton plant is top ranked stress sensitive plant thereby affecting its yield and fiber quality. But, in climate change scenario, fiber yield and quality are being affected due to environmental stresses, especially heat, drought and salinity.

Topological indices correlate certain physicochemical properties like boiling point, stability, and strain energy of chemical compounds. In this report, we compute M-polynomials for PAMAM dendrimers and polyomino chains. Moreover, by applying calculus, we compute nine important topological indices of under-study dendrimers and chains.

There has been a recent debate that boron nanotubes can outperform carbon nanotubes on many grounds. The most stable boron nanotubes are made of a hexagonal lattice with an extra atom added to some of the hexagons called ∝-boron nanotubes. Closed forms of M-polynomial of nanotubes produce closed forms of many degree-based topological indices which are numerical parameters of the structure and determine physico-chemical properties of the concerned nanotubes.

Topological indices are numerical parameters used to study the physical and chemical properties of compounds. In quantitative structure⁻activity relationship QSARs, topological indices correlate the biological activity of compounds with their physical properties like boiling point, stability, melting point, distortion, and strain energy etc. In this paper, we determined the M-polynomials of the crystallographic structure of the molecules Cu₂O and TF₂ [].

Many degree-based topological indices can be obtained from the closed-off M-polynomial of a carbon nanocone. These topological indices are numerical parameters that are associated with a structure and, in combination, determine the properties of the carbon nanocone. In this paper, we compute the closed form of the M-polynomial of generalized carbon nanocone and recover many important degree-based topological indices.

In this paper we prove the Hadamard and the Fejér-Hadamard inequalities for the extended generalized fractional integral operator involving the extended generalized Mittag-Leffler function. The extended generalized Mittag-Leffler function includes many known special functions. We have several such inequalities corresponding to special cases of the extended generalized Mittag-Leffler function.

V-Phenylenic nanotubes and nanotori are most comprehensively studied nanostructures due to widespread applications in the production of catalytic, gas-sensing and corrosion-resistant materials. Representing chemical compounds with M-polynomial is a recent idea and it produces nice formulas of degree-based topological indices which correlate chemical properties of the material under investigation. These indices are used in the development of quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSARs) in which the biological activity and other properties of molecules like boiling point, stability, strain energy etc.

In this note, we give fixed point results in fractal generation (Julia sets and Mandelbrot sets) by using Noor iteration scheme with s-convexity. Researchers have already presented fixed point results in Mann and Ishikawa orbits that are examples of one-step and two-step feedback processes respectively. In this paper we present fixed point results in Noor orbit, which is a three-step iterative procedure.

Gossypium arboreum, a cultivated cotton species (2n = 26, AA) native to Asia, possesses invaluable characteristics unavailable in the tetraploid cultivated cotton gene pool, such as resistance to pests and diseases and tolerance to abiotic stresses. However, it is quite difficult to transfer favorable traits into Upland cotton through conventional methods due to the cross-incompatibility of G. hirsutum (2n = 52, AADD) and G.

Cotton leaf curl virus disease (CLCuD) is an important constraint to cotton production. The resistance of G. arboreum to this devastating disease is well documented.

Cotton leaf curl virus disease is a major hurdle for successful cotton production in Pakistan. There has been considerable economic loss due to this disease during the last decade. It would be desirable to have cotton varieties resistant to this disease.

The intensity of genetic diversity amongst chickpea genotypes and their crosses is unknown. The current study investigated the genetic diversity of chickpea genotypes and their F₁ crosses by using random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. We assessed the variation among six chickpea genotypes and 15 F₁ crosses with the RAPD markers.

Cotton is an important cash crop worldwide, accounting for a large percentage of world agricultural exports; however, yield per acre is still poor in many countries, including Pakistan. Diallel mating system was used to identify parents for improving within-boll yield and fiber quality parameters. Combining ability analysis was employed to obtain suitable parents for this purpose.

Cotton is under the constant threat of leaf curl virus, which is a major constraint for successful production of cotton in the Pakistan. A total of 3338 cotton genotypes belonging to different research stations were screened, but none were found to be resistant against the Burewala strain of cotton leaf curl virus (CLCuV). We explored the possibility of transferring virus-resistant genes from Gossypium arboreum (2n = 26) into G.

Using a baiting technique, Chrysosporium georgiae was isolated from chicken feathers. Twenty-eight different fungal isolates were evaluated for their ability to produce keratinase enzymes using a keratin-salt agar medium containing either white chicken feathers or a prepared feather keratin suspension (KS). The Chrysosporium species were able to use keratin and grow at different rates.
