Here, we have categorized the existing experimental evidence according to whether deletion, upregulation, downregulation, or inhibition of the target ligands (T4SS or HopQ) or receptors (integrins or CEACAMs), result in alterations in CagA phosphorylation, cell elongation, or IL-8 production.
