Objective: to evaluate self-esteem, the consumption of alcohol, tobacco and other substances in outsourced workers of a public university.
Method: a descriptive-analytical, cross-sectional, quantitative study developed with 316 outsourced workers from a municipality in the Southeast of Brazil. Data was collected through a characterization tool, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the Alcohol, Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Test.
