The anesthetic management of dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is challenging and is associated with a high mortality rate. We present a case of a 44-year-old pregnant female known for DCM with low ejection fraction who underwent an elective cesarean section and tubal ligation. The patient was transferred to the intensive care unit in a stable condition with a favorable outcome.

Subjects: and methods: Fifty-one children with voice problems were included in the study along with 60 control children without any voice disorders. The translated Arabic PVRQOL and the Arabic pediatric voice handicap index (PVHI) have been distributed to the study subjects.
