In vitro callus induction and estimation of plumbagin content from Plumbago auriculata Lam.

The medicinal plant Plumbago contains a very potent secondary metabolite, plumbagin having many therapeutic properties. Callus culture was induced using explants, leaf, stem and shoot apex, from P. auriculata.
