As implant dentistry expands, the number of implants being placed increases, and so does the prevalence of associated complications, resulting in implant failure if not timely attended. The present case report aims to discuss the successful regenerative management of peri-implantitis by both hard and soft tissue augmentation with a five-year follow-up. A 60-year-old male reported a chief complaint of purulent discharge, 7 mm peri-implant probing depth, and radiographic bone loss with no pathologic mobility of the dental implant.

Objective: We aimed to (i) describe the 10-year trend in admissions associated with amphetamine use, (ii) describe the distinguishing characteristics of people with an amphetamine-related diagnosis (ARD) and (iii) examine predictors of repeated admissions among people with an ARD.
Method: We conducted a retrospective cohort study. We (i) counted the number of admissions with an ARD and evaluated any trends, and using univariate and multivariate tests, (ii) compared those who had an ARD with those who did not and (iii) compared those with an ARD who had one, two to four, and five or more admissions.

Purpose: Exposing the orbital floor requires a surgical procedure that has its own challenges. Despite the meticulous clinical examination followed by sophisticated imaging modalities, orbital floor defects associated with zygomaticomaxillary complex (ZMC) fractures may evade diagnosis and appropriate management. If surgeons can decide about the need for orbital floor exploration in patients with ZMC fracture, the chance of a postoperative eyelid deformity can be prevented.

A superfluous maxillary alveolus exacerbates excess of the vertical maxilla, and leads to a severe form of deformity. This poses a unique surgical challenge. In such conditions, the dimensions of the maxilla cephalad to the anterior nasal spine are normal, which limits superior repositioning of the maxilla when done in a conventional manner.
