Acne in adult females is triggered mainly by hormones. Doxycycline is a reference treatment in acne. Spironolactone targets the androgen receptor of sebaceous glands and is prescribed off-label for female adult acne.

However, there are very few studies focusing on elderly patients receiving nivolumab combined with ipilimumab (NIVO + IPI). Here, we ask what are the current prescribing patterns of NIVO + IPI in the very elderly population and analyze the tolerance profile.

Objectives: We performed a multidisciplinary clinico-pathological review of cases previously identified as "gingivitis with plasma cell infiltrates", with assessment of putative contributing factors and critical appraisal of the final diagnosis.
Background: Little is known about phototype and the response to systemic treatment in psoriasis.
Objectives: To assess the characteristics of psoriasis, the therapeutic choice and its efficacy according to phototype.
Methods: We included patients from the PsoBioTeq cohort initiating a first biologic.
Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is an aggressive skin cancer for which Merkel cell polyomavirus integration and expression of viral oncogenes small T and Large T have been identified as major oncogenic determinants. Recently, a component of the PRC2 complex, the histone methyltransferase enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) that induces H3K27 trimethylation as a repressive mark has been proposed as a potential therapeutic target in MCC. Because divergent results have been reported for the levels of EZH2 and trimethylation of lysine 27 on histone 3, we analyzed these factors in a large MCC cohort to identify the molecular determinants of EZH2 activity in MCC and to establish MCC cell lines' sensitivity to EZH2 inhibitors.

Our objective was to obtain consensus on clinical criteria to classify psoriasis severity in French clinical practice, with a focus on moderate disease, using a modified Delphi method.
Methods: A steering committee (SC) formulated a 22-item questionnaire to classify moderate psoriasis.
Purpose: Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is an inflammatory skin disease characterized by recurrent or chronic painful and suppurating lesions in the apocrine gland-bearing regions. The lack of knowledge about HS and its extremely heterogeneous clinical presentation, in terms of both lesion appearance and sites of involvement, frequently delay its diagnosis for several years. Objectives: in this study, using the latent class analysis, it was demonstrated that severity of HS could be evaluated not only with clinical or surgical characteristics but also with gender specificities.

This raises the hypothesis that childhood onset psoriasis may affect patients' educational development, and further social and professional outcomes. This study evaluated the relationship between childhood onset psoriasis and patients' educational and socioeconomic characteristics, and the development of addictions in adulthood.

An early-access program enrolled patients with la/mCSCCs to receive cemiplimab. Endpoints were best overall response rate (BOR), progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), duration of response (DOR) and safety.

Data were collected from patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma enrolled in a French national database (Réseau pour la Recherche et l'Investigation Clinique sur le Mélanome: Ric-Mel) and treated with nivolumab during the ATU program (12 September 2014 to 31 August 2015). The primary objectives of the study were to evaluate the effect of patient characteristics on clinical response and overall survival (OS).

This study evaluated the tolerance and effectiveness of anti-interleukin-17 agents for psoriasis in elderly patients in daily practice. A multicentre, retrospective study was performed, involving psoriatic patients aged ≥65 years who had received an anti-interleukin-17 agent, including secukinumab, ixekizumab or brodalumab.

The increasing use of immune checkpoint inhibitors in oncodermatology is associated with the appearance of immunologic adverse effects linked to nonspecific stimulation of the immune system. CTS has not been reported in this context.

The physiopathology of adult female acne is distinguished from that of teenagers essentially by two factors: hormonal and inflammatory. On a therapeutic plan, the four types of systemic treatment approved for female acne include cyclines (leading to bacterial resistance); zinc salts (less effective than cyclines); and antiandrogens (risks of phlebitis).
