Introduction: Renal parenchymal volume loss from standard partial nephrectomy (SPN) is a significant prognosticator for postoperative renal function. Tumor enucleation (TE) minimizes parenchymal loss compared to SPN. Little is known regarding discrete changes in renal function associated with volume loss.

We describe the case of a 76-year-old male with a rising prostate-specific antigen (PSA) after definitive prostate cancer treatment and no prior liver pathology who was incidentally found to have HCC on 18F-PSMA PET.

We present a 27-year-old male who presented with a palpable left testis mass suspicious for malignancy and ultimately found to have discontinuous splenogonadal fusion after radical orchiectomy.

Patients And Methods: We identified 179 patients undergoing RARC and ICUD between January 2014 and May 2017, and divided the patients into two groups based on the utilisation of ICG for the assessment of ureteric vascularity (non-ICG group and ICG group). We retrospectively reviewed the medical records to identify the length of ureter excised.
Objectives: To determine and investigate the intraoperative factors that contribute to a change in plan from continent orthotopic neobladder to ileal conduit or continent cutaneous diversion at the time of radical cystectomy.
Subjects And Methods: A retrospective review of our prospectively maintained bladder cancer database was performed. Of the 711 patients who underwent radical cystectomy from 2012 to 2016, 387 (54.
Silica-based sol-gel and bioglass materials are used in a variety of biomedical applications including the surface modification of orthopedic implants and tissue engineering scaffolds. In this work, a simple system for vapor depositing silica sol-gel nano- and micro-particles onto substrates using nebulizer technology has been developed and characterized. Particle morphology, size distribution, and degradation can easily be controlled through key formulation and manufacturing parameters including water:alkoxide molar ratio, pH, deposition time, and substrate character.
