Background And Aim: Non-surgical procedures using injectable filler products for perioral rejuvenation have emerged and evolved rapidly to become one of the most frequently performed aesthetic treatments. We report a case series describing the administration of two hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers (HA filler) with excellent characteristics and formulation using a technique developed by the author.
Patient/methods: We describe a series of nine female subjects who underwent perioral rejuvenation performed by a single physician in her private clinic.
Background: Recent years have seen a growing interest in the appearance of the eyes among the concerns expressed by patients in cosmetic clinics. This has led to an increase in the frequency of diagnosis of tear trough deformity, and, as a result, the number of treatments performed by specialized professionals has also risen. Hyaluronic acid filler injection is a rapid, nonsurgical technique that gives good long-lasting, but not permanent, results.

Their resilience and increased stretching ability were optimized to ease injectors' practice and provide patients with most natural aesthetic results.
Objective: This study aimed at evaluating the efficacy, durability, and safety of these resilient HA fillers versus commercially available comparator gels.
Background: Facial lines and wrinkles are strongly influenced by individual differences in anatomy and muscle activity and no single injection protocol will suit all patients. However, there is only limited information in the published literature on how to develop a tailored approach to botulinum toxin treatment.
Methods: An expert panel of physicians was convened to establish a consensus on developing an individualized approach to treatment of the forehead with incobotulinumtoxinA.
Background: The laser Affirm™ (LA) is a microthermal, non-ablative fractional laser used for skin rejuvenation. Restylane Vital™ Light (RVL) in the Restylane® Injector, a formulation of stabilized hyaluronic acid-based gel of non-animal origin, is indicated for rejuvenation of delicate skin.
Objectives: To assess the interaction between the LA and RVL in aging skin of the neck using clinical and histological parameters, and to determine whether combined therapy is effective.
The use of large-particle stabilized hyaluronic acid-based gel of nonanimal origin (NASHA™) for facial aesthetic procedures is widespread and increasing. A panel of experts with extensive clinical experience with NASHA based gel recently attended an advisory board meeting to develop guidelines for its use in volumetric tissue augmentation.Discussions included details of the blunt-cannula injection technique currently recommended for administration of large-particle NASHA-based gel.

Methods: A commercial skin fold caliper (Lange type) was used to evaluate erections produced by intracavernous injections of prostaglandin E(1) in 43 patients and to compare ICP with radial rigidity estimation in 13 impotent men undergoing cavernosometry. Calculation of the rigidity index using the skin fold caliper was based on the girth change of the penis shaft when the caliper's jaws exerted a constant pressure of 10 g/mm(2).
Purpose: We compare the efficacy and side effects of 90 mg fluoxetine once weekly versus 20 mg fluoxetine as single oral therapy for patients complaining of premature ejaculation without evident organic causes.
Materials And Methods: The study comprised 80 patients with a mean age of 36 years with premature ejaculation who presented to the urology clinic of 3 hospitals in Barcelona. Pretreatment evaluation included history and physical examination, International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF), Meares-Stamey test and ejaculatory latency time evaluation.
Objective: To evaluate the usefulness of surgical treatment in patients with chronic orchialgia associated with varicocele and those for whom conservative treatment (jockstrap, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and restricted physical activity) was not effective. The response to spermatic vein ligation performed subinguinally with local anaesthesia was assessed in 25 patients with chronic testicular pain and varicocele as the only associated causal factor. Patient age, grade (according to Doppler study) and location of the varicocele, duration and degree of pain, response to treatment using an analogous pain scale pre- and post-surgery and complications pre- and post-surgery were recorded.
