Although gastroschisis is often diagnosed by prenatal ultrasound, there is still a gap in the literature about which prenatal ultrasound markers can predict complex gastroschisis. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to investigate the ultrasound markers that characterize complex gastroschisis. A systematic review of the literature was conducted according to the guidelines of PRISMA.

Introduction: Basal-like Breast Cancer (BLBC) represents an important molecular subtype of breast cancer characterized by an aggressive behavior, molecular pathology poorly understood and a limited treatment.

Objective: We aim to search for molecular differences between non-BLBC and BLBC tumors in order to propose possible diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers using databases. Metodology: Microarray processed data were downloaded from GEO database considering non-BLBC and BLBC.

Anterior gradient 2 protein belongs to a family of chaperone-like proteins, namely protein disulfide isomerase. Generally, AGR2 is highly expressed in mucus-secreting cells and endocrine organs, and in this study, we aimed to evaluate AGR2 and cell cycle molecules in epithelial ovarian cancer and its implications on prognosis. One hundred seventy-five patient's samples that were diagnosed with primary epithelial ovarian carcinoma were selected.

The goal of this study was to investigate the importance of IgG avidity testing in newborns (NBs) diagnosed with early congenital toxoplasmosis. We collected samples from 88 puerperae infected by Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii) and their NBs (48 acutely-infected puerperae (AIP) and 40 chronically-infected puerperae (CIP)), from two public maternity hospitals in Goiania city, Goias, Brazil, from 2010 to 2015.

Docetaxel is an effective drug for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer. However, the exact mechanisms and/or markers associated with chemosensitivity or resistance to docetaxel remain unclear. We previously showed that the expression of prostate apoptosis response 4 (PAR4) inhibits the growth of MCF7 breast cancer cells and increases their sensitivity to docetaxel.
