Rheumatoid arthritis is a polyarthropathy affecting approximately 1% of the population worldwide. Wrist involvement is observed around 75% of patients, resulting in substantial disability and morbidity. A multidisciplinary approach to management of such patients is undertaken to prevent disease progression, many go on to develop debilitating disease requiring surgical intervention.
