Ethnobotanical investigation of L. grown in El Kala (Algeria), and phytochemical study and antioxidant activity of its essential oil and extracts.

Ethnobotanical investigation was carried out using questionnaires among majority of El Kala (Algeria) inhabitants. The investigation found that lentisk ( L.) is widely used in traditional therapy, especially in gastrointestinal and dermatological problems.
