This case report focuses on a 56-year-old female patient who was referred due to a history of head trauma and an incidental space-occupying finding to investigate the atypical imaging appearances of intracranial meningiomas, focusing on a specific case with distinct radiological findings. Meningiomas are commonly associated with specific radiological features, such as contrast enhancement, dural tail, and hyperostosis.

While typically safe, these treatments can entail the risk of severe adverse events (SAEs), especially in individuals with a low body mass index (BMI). The current study aimed to evaluate whether post-endoscopy SAEs are more common in patients with low BMI and find risk factors for serious adverse outcomes in Saudi Arabian patients from Khamis Mushait, Aseer region, Saudi Arabia.

In the current report, a Saudi adult female complained of abnormal bowel motions, which caused severe abdominal pain.

Artificial neural networks (ANNs) ability to learn, correct errors, and transform a large amount of raw data into beneficial medical decisions for treatment and care has increased in popularity for enhanced patient safety and quality of care. Therefore, this paper reviews the critical role of ANNs in providing valuable insights for patients' healthcare decisions and efficient disease diagnosis. We study different types of ANNs in the existing literature that advance ANNs' adaptation for complex applications.

Prevalence of resistance to antituberculosis drugs in Riyadh and a review of previous reports.

Background: Resistance to antituberculosis drugs is an important cause of treatment failure. We evaluated the prevalence and pattern of antituberculosis drug resistance in the central region of Saudi Arabia, and reviewed previous reports from Saudi Arabia.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively examined the records of sputum smear and culture-positive pulmonary tuberculosis patients admitted consecutively from 1998 through 1999 in a main referral hospital in Riyadh, and analyzed drug sensitivity reports.
