Background Familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) is an autosomal dominant disease and is one of the most prevalent genetic disorders. We aimed to determine the prevalence of patients with elevated levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), presumptively indicating possible heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH).
