The translation process of the culturally sensitive active aging scale for community-dwelling older adults in Pakistan.

Background: The assessment of active aging levels in Pakistani older adults is crucial yet; research tools are scarce in the local language. Therefore, this study aims to translate and validate the English version of an Active Aging Scale into a cross-culturally sensitive Urdu version to assess active aging levels in Pakistani older adults.

Methods: To translate and validate the scale, we used the ISPOR (International Society for Pharmacy Economic and Outcome Research) standards.
