Women's career progression and empowerment in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) sectors are critical to attaining SDG 5: Gender Equality because they promote equal access to education, job prospects, and leadership roles, building a more inclusive and equitable society. The purpose of this study is to look into the impact of perceived overqualification (POQ) on career anxiety and career decidedness (CD) among women in STEM disciplines while also considering the function of career identity (CI) and leadership support. With a total sample size of 1,045 participants, two distinct investigations were conducted, one in the educational field (N = 530) and one in an industry setting (N = 515 time-lag).

ASD-GANNet: A Generative Adversarial Network-Inspired Deep Learning Approach for the Classification of Autism Brain Disorder.

The classification of a pre-processed fMRI dataset using functional connectivity (FC)-based features is considered a challenging task because of the set of high-dimensional FC features and the small dataset size. To tackle this specific set of FC high-dimensional features and a small-sized dataset, we propose here a conditional Generative Adversarial Network (cGAN)-based dataset augmenter to first train the cGAN on computed connectivity features of NYU dataset and use the trained cGAN to generate synthetic connectivity features per category. After obtaining a sufficient number of connectivity features per category, a Multi-Head attention mechanism is used as a head for the classification.

[Measures and Recommendations for Ensuring Adequate Inpatient Care Capacities for Pandemic Management within a Region: Results of a Hybrid Delphi Method].

Introduction: Since the beginning of the pandemic in spring 2020, inpatient healthcare has been under enormous burden, which is reflected especially in overworked staff, imprecise bed planning and/or data transfer. According to the recommendation of the Science Council, university clinics should play a controlling role in regional healthcare and act in conjunction with surrounding hospitals and practices.

Methods: In September 2021, 31 representatives from 18 university hospitals were invited to a hybrid Delphi study with a total of 4 survey rounds to discuss criteria for effective inpatient care in a pandemic situation, which were extracted from previous expert interviews.

Turning the tide on turnover: The impact of empowering leadership on the work-family spillover of managers.

The aim of this study is to examine the direct and indirect relationships between empowering leadership (EL), work-family spillover and manager turnover intentions, and to explore the moderating impact of perceived organizational support (POS) on these relationships. The study collected data from 220 participants-middle-level managers and their immediate subordinates working in hotels and tourism-related enterprises in central China. The results highlighted a significant relationship between EL and work-family positive spillover (WFPS) and manager turnover intentions, whereas the mediating effect of work-family negative spillover (WFNS) was found to be insignificant.

This study proposed a research model based on the transactional theory of stress and coping to examine the relationship between excessive enterprise social media (ESM) usage and employee creativity. The research model proposed that excessive ESM usage positively influences Techno-overload and technology-family conflict which influence ESM fatigue. Furthermore, ESM fatigue negatively influences employee creativity.

This report is devoted to the study of the flow of MHD nanofluids through a vertical porous plate with a temperature-dependent surface tension using the Cattaneo-Christov heat flow model. The energy equation was formulated using the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model instead of Fourier's law of heat conduction. The Tiwari-Das model was used to take into account the concentration of nanoparticles when constructing the momentum equation.

Protective Effect of Dictyophora Polysaccharides on Sodium Arsenite-Induced Hepatotoxicity: A Proteomics Study.

The purpose of this study is to understand the mechanism of sodium arsenite (NaAsO)-induced apoptosis of L-02 human hepatic cells, and how Dictyophora polysaccharide (DIP) protects L-02 cells from arsenic-induced apoptosis. The results revealed that DIP pretreatment inhibited NaAsO induced L-02 cells apoptosis by increasing anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 expression and decreasing pro-apoptotic Bax expression. Proteomic analysis showed that arsenic treatment disrupted the expression of metabolism and apoptosis associated proteins, including ribosomal proteins (RPs).

Potential biomarkers identified in plasma of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus.

Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a common complication during pregnancy. Looking for reliable diagnostic markers for early diagnosis can reduce the impact of the disease on the fetus OBJECTIVE: The present study is designed to find plasma metabolites that can be used as potential biomarkers for GDM, and to clarify GDM-related mechanisms METHODS: By non-target metabolomics analysis, compared with their respective controls, the plasma metabolites of GDM pregnant women at 12-16 weeks and 24-28 weeks of pregnancy were analyzed. Multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) analysis was performed to verify the potential marker RESULTS: One hundred and seventy-two (172) and 478 metabolites were identified as differential metabolites in the plasma of GDM pregnant women at 12-16 weeks and 24-28 weeks of pregnancy, respectively.

Several studies have quantified the carbon dioxide (CO emissions associated with energy consumption, agriculture value added, food crop production, forest covered area, and forest production in various countries. However, past studies have ignored the long-term and short-term effects of these factors on CO. This study used data from 1980 to 2018 and applied the autoregressive distributed lag model (ARDL) technique to test long-run and short-run effects of these factors on CO emission in the Pakistani context.
