Introduction: The rise of recent novel therapies teclistamab, elranatamab, and talquetamab for the treatment of relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) is a rapidly evolving area with significant clinical implications that require exploration and evaluation.

Areas Covered: The current review highlights the clinical trial data, safety endpoints, and practical administration considerations for the bispecific therapies currently used in multiple myeloma. This article reviewed the efficacy and safety results between the three different bispecifics, and the differences in dosing and monitoring requirements.

Relapsed/Refractory (R/R) diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is an aggressive disease with poor prognosis and limited therapeutic options. High-dose chemotherapy with autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (autoHCT) was historically the curative-intent treatment for patients who demonstrated chemosensitivity to salvage therapy. However, a significant portion of patients do not make it autoHCT due to disease progression or overall fitness and eligibility.

[F]fluoro-2-deoxy-d-glucose PET/computed tomography has been implemented in the management of patients with lymphoma, offering real-time metabolic information on lymphoma with the promise of more accurate staging, treatment response assessment, prognostication, and early detection of disease recurrence. The clinical management of lymphoproliferative disease has recently, rapidly evolved from initial chemotherapeutic to the use of immunotherapy, targeted agents, and to the use of chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapies. The implementation of these new systems and imaging protocols together with new tracer development creates, in the field of lymphoproliferative disease, both opportunities and challenges that will be detailed in this comprehensive literature review.

Purpose: Autologous hematopoietic cell transplantation (autoHCT) is associated with survival benefits in multiple myeloma (MM), but utilization remains low and differs by sociodemographic factors. Prior population-based studies have not fully captured autoHCT utilization or examined relationships between sociodemographic factors and autoHCT trends over time.

Patients And Methods: We used a novel data linkage between the California Cancer Registry, Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research, and hospitalizations to capture autoHCT in a population-based MM cohort (n = 29, 109; 1991-2016).

Background: Hyper-CVAD is an established regimen for adult ALL that was developed at the MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC). However, results can vary across different institutions given the heterogeneity of patient populations and institutional practices. Immune checkpoint inhibitors represent a newly established standard of care in patients with refractory metastatic colorectal cancer with mismatch repair deficiency and microsatellite instability. However, the use of immunotherapy is unclear in recipients of liver transplants with or without concurrent liver function abnormalities. Clinical trials investigating immunotherapy have mostly excluded liver transplant recipients and patients with abnormal liver function.
