Depression, considered the most prevalent neuropsychiatric disorder, is multifactorial and complex. Oxidative stress and inflammation significantly contribute to its etiology. Conversely, methane, a novel therapeutic gas, has demonstrated efficacy in enhancing tissue resilience against ischemic injuries and inflammation.

Materials And Methods: Blood samples were collected from 80 patients admitted to COVID-19-specific hospitals.
encodes Feline leukemia virus subgroup C receptor 1 (FLVCR1), a solute carrier (SLC) transporter within the Major Facilitator Superfamily. FLVCR1 is a widely expressed transmembrane protein with plasma membrane and mitochondrial isoforms implicated in heme, choline, and ethanolamine transport. While knockout mice die with skeletal malformations and defective erythropoiesis reminiscent of Diamond-Blackfan anemia, rare biallelic pathogenic variants are linked to childhood or adult-onset neurodegeneration of the retina, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system.

Surprisingly, the extent of airborne Mucormycetes sporangiospore concentrations remains inadequately explored. This study aimed to assess the influence of UV radiation on microbial populations and Mucormycetes spore levels within a hospital environment in northern Iran.

This study was intended to examine the impact of tele-medicine on health anxiety and pregnancy-related anxiety in pregnant women during the COVID-19 epidemic in Iran.
Materials And Methods: This quasi-experimental study was performed between March and May 2020.
Neuropsychiatric disorders (NPDs) are considered a potential threat to mental health. Inflammation predominantly plays a role in the pathophysiology of NPDs. Dietary patterns are widely postulated to be involved in the physiological response to inflammation.

Biallelic pathogenic PRMT7 variants have previously been associated with a syndromic neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by short stature, brachydactyly, intellectual developmental disability, and seizures. To our knowledge, no comprehensive study describes the detailed clinical characteristics of this syndrome.

Despite efforts to create comprehensive guidelines and models for evidence-based decision-making (EBDM), there isn`t any to make the best decisions concerning scarce resources and unlimited needs. The present study aimed to develop a comprehensive applied framework for EBDM.

The current global pandemic crisis created due to COVID-19 has made worldwide online learning. This study aimed to investigate the level of satisfaction and quality of E-learning in medical universities from the students' point of view during the epidemic of COVID-19 and assessing the obstacles and solutions proposed to improve the quality of E-learning.

The objective of this research was to detect one of the potential risk factors of equine squamous gastric disease (ESGD), the specific gene, and tracing the presence of the duodenal ulcer-promoting gene () as a possible virulence marker. Gastric fluid together with faecal samples were collected from twenty rural horses from around Tabriz, Iran.

Moving toward evidence-based decision-making (EBDM) as a change in organizations, especially health systems (HSs), is inevitable. This study was conducted to identify the factors affecting EBDM in HSs from two approaches and to score them.

The main pathology of Alzheimer's disease is highly related with accumulation of misfolded proteins that lead to neuronal dysfunction in the brain. On the other hand, diabetes mellitus is associated with alteration of insulin signaling, which could cause the reduction of glucose uptake, metabolic prohibition of energy consuming cells, as well as suppression of glucose to fat conversion in the liver.

The status of the host immune system is a critical factor that affects the severity and outcomes of COVID-19. In particular, antibody responses are an indicator of the anti-viral defense; so, a delayed or inappropriate induction of these responses would correlate with a defect in the viral clearance.

This systematic review aimed to investigate the association of the dimensions of the genital hiatus and levator hiatus at rest and Valsalva with POP.
Methods: The Cochrane Library, PubMed, Scopus, Embase and Web of Science were searched on 25 April 2020.
Background: The patency of a permanent arteriovenous catheter plays a significant role in the functioning of the catheter among patients dependent on the hemodialysis. Thrombosis formation is one of the most critical reasons for the short-term efficacy of the embedded catheters. The present study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of warfarin for hemodialysis catheter failure prevention.

MGs account for a range of public health risks including communicable diseases, waterborne diseases, water treatment, and outbreaks.
Objectives: The present study aimed to identify public health risks threatening the health of people participating in MGs in Iran.
Vaginal atrophy is one of the most common menopausal complications and is often overlooked. There are various pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment approaches to reduce vaginal atrophy; however, no comprehensive study on a convenient, affordable, inexpensive, and noninvasive treatment with fewer complications has been conducted so far. Thus, the current study aimed to provide a systematic review of pharmacological treatment for vaginal atrophy in postmenopausal women in Iran.

The Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2017 study used methods to provide highly detailed estimates of global injury burden that meet these criteria.
Methods: In this study, we report and discuss the methods used in GBD 2017 for injury morbidity and mortality burden estimation.
Coronaviruses recently returned with a new one, SARS-CoV-2, related to a potentially severe respiratory disease-called the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Research shows that the SARS-CoV-2 can be clustered with the Bat SARS-like coronavirus. Bats possess an additional, innate ability for antiviral defense, and, on the other hand, the potential to go hand-in-hand with the virus to generate variability.

The results showed that ROCEN formulation significantly improved the main parameters of burn wound healing in a short period of time (7 days). The percentage of wound surface was also reduced significantly compared with the control group following once daily application of ROCEN for 14 days.
