Romosozumab successfully regulated progressive osteoporosis in a patient with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis.

Osteoporosis is a crucial complication in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), similar to that in the general population. Although romosozumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting sclerostin, has been administered for patients with CKD, its clinical effectiveness in these patients, especially in patients on hemodialysis (HD), remains to be studied. Herein, we report the case of a 42-year-old man on HD who developed severe osteoporosis.
