Paediatric displaced fracture of the neck of talus is extremely rare injury with variable outcomes. We report our experience in managing a Hawkins type III talar neck fracture dislocation with neurovascular and tendon entrapment in a 3-year-old boy. We describe the emergency presentation, radiological findings, orthopaedic management and clinical and functional outcomes in this toddler following the injury with review of the current literature.

Background: Fibular collateral ligament (FCL), popliteus tendon (PT) and popliteofibular ligament are key components of posterolateral corner (PLC) of the knee. These structures play a vital role in stabilizing the knee against varus and external rotation. Background: Cervical pedicle screw insertion is a technically demanding procedure that carries the risk of catastrophic damage to surrounding neurovascular structures. Here, we analyzed computed tomography (CT)-based three-dimensional cervical spine pedicle geometry to determine the level and sex-specific morphologic differences in the adult Indian population.

Methods: The CT scans of 200 patients (2400 pedicles) without significant cervical spine pathology were collected.
