Background: The standard treatment for thymomatous myasthenia gravis (TMG) patients is thymectomy, whereas its role in non-TMG (NTMG) is still under debate. The objective of this study is to assess myasthenia gravis (MG) outcomes of thymectomy using the uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (UVATS) technique for both groups and evaluate the procedure's efficacy and safety.
Methods: We retrospectively collected data from January 2019 to December 2022 at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) usually presents with symptoms of hypercalcemia which is due to excessive secretion of parathyroid hormone (PTH). Surgical removal of the secreting tumor either adenoma or hyperplasia remains the mainstay of treatment. Around 2% to 25% of the lesions are located in the mediastinum.

The aim of this study is to present the characteristics and outcomes of 77 patients diagnosed with aspergilloma who underwent surgery at Chiang Mai University Hospital (CMUH), and to identify risk factors for composite major postoperative complications (CMPC).
Methods: This is an observational retrospective cohort study carried out at CMUH over a period of 11 years from January 1, 2010, to February 28, 2021.

Background: The Covid-19 pandemic has caused changes in the surgical treatment of non-Covid patients, especially in thoracic surgery because most procedures are aerosol generating. Hospital Kuala Lumpur, where thoracic procedures are performed, was badly affected. We describe our experience in performing aerosol generating procedures safely in thoracic surgery during the Covid-19 era.
