Importance: Integration of molecular biomarker information into systemic therapy has become standard practice in breast cancer care. However, its implementation in guiding radiotherapy (RT) is slower. Although postoperative RT is recommended for most patients after breast-conserving surgery and, depending on risk factors, following mastectomy, emerging evidence has indicated that patients with low scores on gene expression signatures or selected clinical-pathological features may have very low local recurrence rates.

Despite growing awareness, the integration of evidence-based nutritional strategies into oncology remains inconsistent. Following a 2020 survey that highlighted critical gaps, the NutriOnc Research Group launched targeted initiatives to raise awareness and improve practices.

This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic significance of sarcopenia, assessed by psoas muscle size on baseline CT scans, in patients over 70 years of age with metastatic NSCLC. We retrospectively analyzed 85 elderly patients undergoing palliative radiation therapy between August 2022 and July 2024.

The CEUS findings were then compared with histopathological examination outcomes or follow-up imaging results.

Disease-free survival at 2 years is 67% for stage II and 33% for stage III tumors, whereas 12-30% of patients undergo distant failures after curative treatment. Previous treatments often hinder the success of salvage surgery and/or reirradiation, while the standard of care for the majority of metastatic SCCHN remains palliative chemo- and immuno-therapy, with few patients eligible for locoregional treatments.

Despite the clear benefits in personalized patient care and improved outcomes, the increasing burden on MTBs due to rising cancer incidence and financial constraints necessitates innovative solutions. The advent of artificial intelligence (AI) in the medical field offers a promising avenue to support clinical decision-making.

In response, the Italian Association of Radiotherapy and Oncology Thoracic Oncology study group has initiated an observational multicenter trial to assess both acute and late toxicities of PORT in pN2 NSCLC patients treated with modern techniques.
Methods: Data on NSCLC patients submitted to PORT after radical surgery treated between 2015 and 2020 in six Italian Centers were collected.
Cemiplimab has demonstrated relevant clinical activity in cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) but mechanisms of primary and acquired resistance to immunotherapy are still unknown. We collected clinical data from locally advanced and/or metastatic cSSC patients treated with cemiplimab in two Italian University centers. In addition, gene expression analysis by using Nanostring Technologies platform to evaluate 770 cancer- and immune-related genes on 20 tumor tissue samples (9 responders and 11 non-responders to cemiplimab) was performed.

Since this pathology limits movement, it is important to make an early diagnosis. Diagnosing capsulitis relies on clinical assessment, although diagnostic imaging, such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging, can provide predictive or supportive information for specific characteristic signs.

Delta radiomics, on the other hand, consists in the analysis of feature variation at different acquisition time points, usually before and after therapy. The aim of this study was to provide a systematic review of the different delta radiomics approaches.

Accurate diagnosis and staging are crucial for optimal management, yet radiological literature on imaging PCL remains limited. This study aims to delineate the imaging characteristics of PCLs using high and ultra-high frequency ultrasound (UHFUS) and proposes a classification system based on ultrasound findings.

Radiomics is an innovative field in Personalized Medicine to help medical specialists in diagnosis and prognosis. Mainly, the application of Radiomics to medical images requires the definition and delimitation of the Region Of Interest (ROI) on the medical image to extract radiomic features. The aim of this preliminary study is to define an approach that automatically detects the specific areas indicative of a particular disease and examines them to minimize diagnostic errors associated with false positives and false negatives.

Objective: We conducted a post hoc analysis to identify potential radiomic biomarkers for patients with CRC liver metastasis (LM).
Patients And Methods: Patients with LM that could be measured by enhanced contrast phase computed tomography (CT) imaging at baseline and at first response evaluation were included.
This series introduces the clinical management of difficult-to-treat non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSCs) through a multidisciplinary approach, emphasizing the integration of dermoscopy and Ultra high-frequency ultrasound (UHFUS) for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, particularly in cases referred for radiotherapy (RT). Dermoscopy aids in diagnosing both pigmented and non-pigmented skin lesions, guiding treatment margins and reducing the benign-to-malignant biopsy ratio. UHFUS provides valuable insights into tumor size, depth, and vascularity, complementing clinical evaluations and assisting in RT planning.

The concept of CIC has important guiding significance for the clinical and basic tumor immunotherapy research. As one of the methods of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) has shown unique advantages in multitarget and multipathway immune regulation.
