Fate of Patients with Chronic Cerebrovascular Steno-occlusive Disease According to Change of Cerebral Perfusion, Cerebrovascular Reserved, and Incidence of Recurrent Ischemic Stroke.

Objective: The objective is to demonstrate change of cerebral perfusion and cerebrovascular reserve (CVR) in treating patients with cerebrovascular steno-occlusive disease stratified by change of cerebral perfusion and CVR.

Methods: Retrospective review patients with radiographic proven major cerebrovascular steno-occlusive disease whom underwent cerebral perfusion imaging with vasoactive stimuli stress test in Siriraj Hospital and Bangkok General Hospital during 2010-2018. Medical records were also reviewed.

MRI study of intracranial hydrodynamics and ventriculoperitoneal shunt responsiveness in patient with normal pressure hydrocephalus.

Objective: To determine the predictor for shunt responsive cases in patient with normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) by means of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow study at Siriraj hospital.

Material And Method: The retrospective study was performed in patients suspected NPH and underwent MRI CSF flow measurement. 2D-phase contrast technique (Achieva, 3 Tesla Philips system) was used as CSF flow analysis.

Posterior C1-C2 fusion using C1 lateral mass and C2 pars screw with rod fixation: techniques and outcomes.

Objective: The atlantoaxial instability often requires posterior fixation surgery. Multiple techniques have been described for C1-C2 fixation. Transarticular atlantoaxial screw has been demonstrated to be effective for C1-C2 stabilization.

Diagnostic accuracy of perfusion CT in differentiating brain abscess from necrotic tumor.

Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of perfusion computed tomography (CTP) in differentiating between brain abscess and necrotic tumor.

Material And Method: Prospective study was performed in patients suspected of a space taking lesion in the brain. CTP was done at the suspected levels and post-processing measurement of cerebral blood volume (CBV), cerebral blood flow (CBF), mean transit time (MTT), and permeability surface index (PS) were evaluated at ring enhanced area, central non-enhanced area, edema and contralateral normal brain.
