Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most prevalent and common malignant tumors worldwide, accounting for 85-90 % of primary liver cancer cases. Accumulating evidence shows that long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs) play regulatory roles in HCC occurrence and progression. However, little is known about the biological role of the LncRNA "E2F1-regulated inhibitor of cell death" (ERICD) in HCC.
