Adult Tessier cleft 30: technical case report and review of literature.

Atypical facial clefts are rare anomalies that occur due to the failure of embryonic fusion of the branchial arches. The midline mandibular cleft or Tessier 30 cleft is one such rare anomaly. Such anomalies are diagnosed at birth and treated within a few months of age by establishing soft tissue and bony continuity, followed by orthognathic treatment in adulthood.
