Immunotherapies including adaptive immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells, have developed the treatment of cancer in clinic, and most of them focus on activating T cell immunity. Although these strategies have obtained unprecedented clinical responses, only limited subsets of cancer patients could receive long-term benefits, highlighting the demand for identifying novel targets for the new era of tumor immunotherapy. Innate immunity has been demonstrated to play a determinative role in the tumor microenvironment (TME) and influence the clinical outcomes of tumor patients.

Cesium copper halides have the advantages of high photoluminescence quantum efficiency and good stability, making them attractive for replacing toxic lead halides in the field of perovskite light-emitting diodes (LEDs). However, due to their shallow conduction band and the lack of electron transport layers compatible with it, it remains a great challenge to achieve charge balance in LED devices. This drawback manifests as the accumulation of holes at the interface between the emitting layer and electron transport layer, resulting in nonradiative recombination.

This review summarizes recent progress in the synergistic design strategy for thermoresponsive polymers possessing an upper critical solution temperature (UCST) in aqueous systems. To achieve precise control of the responsive behavior of the UCST polymers, their molecular design can benefit from a synergistic effect of hydrogen bonding with other interactions or modification of the chemical structures. The combination of UCST behavior with other stimuli-responsive properties of the polymers may yield new functional materials with potential applications such as sensors, actuators, and controlled release devices.

Cancer has become a leading cause of death and disease burden worldwide, closely related to rapid socioeconomic development. However, the fundamental reason is the lack of comprehensive understanding of the mechanism of cancer, accurate identification of preclinical cancer, and effective treatment of the disease. Therefore, it is particularly urgent to study specific mechanisms of cancer and develop effective prediction and treatment methods.

With its low morbidity and high mortality rates, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) has imposed a critical physical and economic burden on both society and individuals. Thrombocytopenia commonly occurs in severe liver failure, and a variety of hepatitis viruses are known to induce immune thrombocytopenic purpura. However, TTP is extremely rare in hepatitis E virus infection.

Accurate clustering is a challenging task with unlabeled data. Ensemble clustering aims to combine sets of base clusterings to obtain a better and more stable clustering and has shown its ability to improve clustering accuracy. Dense representation ensemble clustering (DREC) and entropy-based locally weighted ensemble clustering (ELWEC) are two typical methods for ensemble clustering.

Preventing islet β-cells death is crucial for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Currently, clinical drugs are being developed to improve the quality of T2DM care and self-care, but drugs focused on reducing islets β-cell death are lacking. Given that β-cell death in T2DM is dominated ultimately by excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS), eliminating excessive ROS in β-cells is a highly promising therapeutic strategy.

Background: Since hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) loss is rarely achieved with nucleos(t)ide analog (NA) treatment, most patients require life-long NA treatment. Previous studies have shown that some patients remain virologically responsive even after NA cessation. However, there is still controversy surrounding whether NA discontinuation increases the HBsAg loss rate.

Three-dimensional (3D) bioprinted cartilage-mimicking substitutes for full-thickness articular cartilage defect repair have emerged as alternatives to defect repair models. However, there has been very limited breakthrough in cartilage regeneration based on 3D bioprinting owing to the lack of ideal bioinks with printability, biocompatibility, bioactivity, and suitable physicochemical properties. In contrast to animal-derived natural polymers or acellular matrices, human-derived Wharton's jelly is biocompatible and hypoimmunogenic with an abundant source.

an insufficient coat protein complex I (COPI) retrieval signal, the majority of SARS-CoV-2 spike (S) is resident in host early secretory organelles and a tiny amount is leaked out in cell surface. Only surface-exposed S can be recognized by B cell receptor (BCR) or anti-S therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) that is the trigger step for B cell activation after S mRNA vaccination or infected cell clearance by S mAbs. Now, a drug strategy to promote S host surface exposure is absent.

Existing cross-lingual summarization (CLS) datasets consist of inconsistent sample quality and low scale. To address these problems, we propose a method that jointly supervises quality and scale to build CLS datasets. In terms of quality supervision, the method adopts a multi-strategy filtering algorithm to remove low-quality samples of monolingual summarization (MS) from the perspectives of character and semantics, thereby improving the quality of the MS dataset.

The fast conversion of hydrogen peroxide (H O ) into reactive oxygen species (ROS) at tumor sites is a promising anticancer strategy by manipulating nanomedicines with near-infrared light in the second region (NIR-II). However, this strategy is greatly compromised by the powerful antioxidant capacity of tumors and the limited ROS generation rate of nanomedicines. This dilemma mainly stems from the lack of an effective synthesis method to support high-density copper-based nanocatalysts on the surface of photothermal nanomaterials.
