Chest wall lymphatic malformations are rare and can pose a diagnostic dilemma, particularly if they present abruptly. This case report describes a 15-month-old male toddler presenting with a left lateral chest mass. Histopathology of the surgically excised mass confirmed the diagnosis of a macrocystic lymphatic malformation.

We report a case of familial paraganglioma that was successfully treated by esmolol and other antihypertensive medications without associated perioperative complications. Our patient was an 11-year-old girl who presented with classic symptoms and signs of PCC/PG and a CT scan of the abdomen that showed a right-sided paravertebral mass.

The oral dose level 1/600th of LD50 for 30, 60, and 90 days was used for three aflatoxin groups, respective to negative and vehicle control groups. Activity levels of brain antioxidants viz: superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione, and glutathione peroxidase significantly decreased in the three experimental durations in time-dependent trend, in contrast, lipid peroxidation showed a significant increase compared to controls.

Objective: To identify the risk factors, characteristics and outcomes of necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) at our institution.
Study Design: A retrospective case-control analysis of the charts of all late preterm and term infants, who had NEC of Bell's stage ≥ II from 1995 to 2009, along with infants of the same gestational age. Thirty-two late preterm infants had NEC meeting criteria and 128 late preterm and term infants were chosen as matched controls.
Meconium peritonitis pseudo-cyst is very rare. Its perinatal management is controversial and can be associated with increased fetomaternal morbidity and mortality. A 34-week gestation infant with large meconium peritonitis pseudo-cyst, detected by intrapartum fetal ultrasound study, had abnormally increased ratio of fetal abdominal circumference to head circumference.
