Treatment of Pink Pulseless Hand Following Supracondylar Fractures of the Humerus in Children.

Supracondylar humerus fractures (SCHF) in children are common and can lead to serious complications, including neurovascular injury. The optimal management of children with a 'pink pulseless' hand following such a fracture is unclear. This study aimed to ascertain an appropriate therapeutic approach for children with SCHF and a pink pulseless hand.

Initial evaluation of the relationship between maximal axial vertebra rotation and the rotation deformity in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.

Purpose: This study evaluated the relationship between maximal axial vertebra rotation (maxAVR) and other clinical and radiological indexes, compared to apical vertebra rotation (AVR) in idiopathic adolescent scoliosis (AIS).

Methods: Forty consecutive patients of AIS with Cobb angle of major curve > 40° were included. They were scanned by an EOS imaging system and had trunk rotational angle (TRA) measured by scoliometer.

Mid-term results of Ponseti management for an idiopathic congenital clubfoot at a single center in Vietnam.

Despite the increasing popularity of the Ponseti method for the treatment of idiopathic congenital clubfeet, the relapse rate and sequela after the initial correction of manipulating and casting remain high. This study presents a scale to evaluate the relapse and identify the factors correlated with the relapse and latest follow-up mid-term results. A total of 101 children (newborn to 12 months), 142 idiopathic congenital clubfeet, were recruited for this study following treatment with the Ponseti method at the Hospital for Traumatology and Orthopaedics (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) with a follow-up period of a minimum of 2 years.
