The increased demand for consuming seafood has made seafood production undergo a rapid period of growth. However, seafood has a high risk of contamination from harmful microorganisms and marine toxins which can cause health problems for humans consuming it. Concerning this issue, monitoring seafood safety has become a center of attention for researchers, and developing effective methods for detecting contamination in seafood has become a critical research field.

Introduction And Importance: Primary malignant pericardial mesothelioma is an extremely rare disease with a poor prognosis. Currently, there are no specific guidelines for diagnosis and treatment in Vietnam and international countries for this disease, so treatment experiences from previous clinical cases are very important in the management of this disease.
Case Presentation: The research team reports a clinical case diagnosed and treated with a combination of surgery and chemotherapy using the Pemetrexed + Carboplatin regimen at the Oncology Center.
In this study, we present a comprehensive approach for the morphological analysis of palladium on carbon (Pd/C) nanoparticles utilizing scanning electron microscopy (SEM) imaging and advanced deep learning techniques. A deep learning detection model based on an attention mechanism was implemented to accurately identify and delineate small nanoparticles within unlabeled SEM images. Following detection, a graph-based network was employed to analyze the structural characteristics of the nanoparticles, while density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise was utilized to cluster the detected nanoparticles, identifying meaningful patterns and distributions.

Examining indications, contraindications, and clinical outcomes, the study highlights potential benefits, drawing insights from successful cases in South Korea and the United States. Despite limited sample sizes, veno-pulmonary support with an oxygenator using extracorporeal membrane oxygenation emerges as a promising approach for further investigation in lung transplantation support.

In light of escalating environmental pollution and tremendous energy shortage, the development of multifunctional materials with diverse applications across biomedical and energy production platforms has become imperative. Among this domain, nanostructured heterogeneous composites based on semiconductors are exclusively promising owing to their distinct configurations. Notably, graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN (CN)) has drawn substantial interest as a sustainable candidate with surface functionality, electron-rich nature, and interconnected conjugation system along the polymeric matrix.

Using the co-precipitation method, we synthesized Zn-Co-LDHs onto Cnts ranging in mass from 0 to 80 mg. These were subsequently calcined at 550 °C to yield Cnts@ZnC ( = 2, 4, 6, 8).

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) represents stromal and epithelial cell proliferation in the prostate in elderly males. Abnormal activation of inflammation-related signalling molecules, such as toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and Janus kinase/signal transducers and activators of transcription (JAK/STAT) has been linked to the initiation and progression of various human diseases including PCa and BPH.

Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study was performed from August to October 2022 within five hospitals located in Hanoi, Vietnam. A total of 244 health professionals participated in the study.
Background: This study aims to present the early and mid-term outcomes of combining minimally invasive mitral valve surgery (MIMVS) with tricuspid valve repair (TVR) at the authors' centre.
Methods: From January 2017 to March 2022, our centre treated a total of 67 patients with both MIMVS and TVR. Among these patients, 41 were women (61.
In the adsorption process for wastewater treatment, the adsorbent plays an important role. A composite adsorptive material composed of graphitic carbon nitride and agar-derived porous carbon (CNPC) was fabricated from simple precursors (melamine, thiourea, and agar) and through a facile procedure with different melamine and thiourea ratios. Characterization of CNPC proved a successful formation of a porous structure consisting of mesopores and macropores, wherein CNPC holds distinctive electrochemical (lowered resistance and higher specific capacity) and photochemical properties (lowered bandgap to 2.

However, natural antioxidants have several limitations such as low stability, difficult long-term storage, and high cost of large-scale production. Along with significant advances in nanotechnology, nanomaterials have emerged as a promising solution to improve the limitations of natural antioxidants because of their high stability, easy storage, time effectiveness, and low cost.

Two new glycosides, sindosides A-B (1-2), along with 11 previously identified metabolites (3-13), were isolated from an ethanolic extract of the leaves of Sindora siamensis var. maritima. The structures of the purified phytochemicals were elucidated by interpreting their spectroscopic data (IR, NMR, and HRMS).

To develop effective interventions and efficient vaccination programs, we inferred the age-time-specific transmission patterns of HFMD serotypes enterovirus A71 (EV-A71), coxsackievirus A6 (CV-A6), coxsackievirus A10 (CV-A10), coxsackievirus A16 (CV-A16) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from a case data collected during 2013-2018 and a serological survey data collected in 2015 and 2017. We proposed a catalytic model framework with good adaptability to incorporate maternal immunity using various mathematical functions.
