Autophagy is a crucial quality control mechanism that degrades damaged cellular components through lysosomal fusion with autophagosomes. However, elevated autophagy levels can promote drug resistance in cancer cells, enhancing their survival. Downregulation of autophagy through oxidative stress is a clinically promising strategy to counteract drug resistance, yet precise control of oxidative stress in autophagic proteins remains challenging.

However, there is a lack of studies evaluating different degrees of PNI using PET within the same individual to reduce errors due to interindividual differences.
Purpose: To evaluate the recovery process in the same rat after sciatic nerve injury using PET/magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Objectives: We ascertained that the PET scan may be a valuable imaging modality for the noninvasive, objective diagnosis of neuropathic pain caused by peripheral nerve injury through the previous study. This study aimed to assess peripheral nerve damage according to severity usingF-FDG PET/MRI of the rat sciatic nerve.
Methods: Eighteen rats were divided into three groups: 30-second (G1), 2-minute (G2), and 5-minute (G3) crushing injuries.
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of cardiac rehabilitation (CR) on major adverse cardiac events (MACE) among patients who underwent PCI procedure. We used data from the electronic medical records (EMR) of a tertiary hospital in Seoul, Korea, from January 2014 to February 2020. We present V-Mail, a framework of cross-platform applications, interactive techniques, and communication protocols for improved multi-person correspondence about spatial 3D datasets. Inspired by the daily use of e-mail, V-Mail seeks to enable a similar style of rapid, multi-person communication accessible on any device; however, it aims to do this in the new context of spatial 3D communication, where limited access to 3D graphics hardware typically prevents such communication. The approach integrates visual data storytelling with data exploration, spatial annotations, and animated transitions.

Graphene being a single-atom-thick semi-metal with low secondary electron emission, array tomography analysis of serial sections of biological specimens on a graphene substrate showed excellent image quality with improved-axis resolution, without including any conductive surface coatings. However, the hydrophobic nature of graphene makes the placement of biological specimens difficult; graphene functionalized with polydimethylsiloxane oligomer was fabricated using a simple soft lithography technique and then processed with oxygen plasma to provide hydrophilic graphene with minimal damage to graphene.

Here, we report the synthesis of Zn-based polyoxometalate (ZnPOM) and its application in the photocatalytic CO2RR. Unlike conventional Zn-based catalysts that produce CO, ZnPOM can selectively catalyze the production of CH in the presence of an Ir-based photosensitizer (TIr3) through the photocatalytic CO2RR.

In surgical repair of orbital fracture, implant materials play an important role in restoring the functional and anatomic structure of the orbit. Alloplastic implant materials are widely used for this surgery, but they have the risk of complications such as infections, pain, and extrusion. Because they are artificial implants, infection can occur more than autologous implants and is the most challenging problem to manage.

Diabetes is characterized by chronic hyperglycemia, inflammation and oxidative stress, which promote renal fibrosis and kidney failure.
